... taking that sidewalk photo of the word IMAGINATION one cold day in April of 2007 allowed me to imagine a dream of mine, which has now come true, to open my own photography studio. I situated the company in a studio in the heart of Downtown Pleasanton, but we serve the Greater Bay Area, and do "Destination / Location shoots" as well.
Self-taught and later schooled at the Laney College Department of Photography in Oakland CA, I have 4+ years working as a Pro. I started out as a freelance photojournalist, and have been published in San Francisco Magazine, The Peoples Tribune, and on many websites since 2006. I have also won numerous contests around the San Francisco Bay Area.
I began doing Studio work in 2010 and found that I just loved to do portraits, finding the work enjoyable and rewarding. This is a far cry from my days in law enforcement, but capturing the perfect photo is far more energizing than capturing the bad guy!
Without my camera, I am lost, but without my clients, I am nothing. I have been so blessed to have worked with many diverse clients over the years, I hope you will find my work appealing and full of light and energy.
